Another Excuse
Hehe. I always have excuses for not being able to post. Well, I have another one for yesterday. My brother was using the computer the whole day. Come night time, he wanted us to see Troy on DVD. But right now, we only have a DVD-ROM drive so we had to watch it on this computer. The movie finished past 10pm. I didn't even finish it! Wanna know why?! My parents kept on asking my brother what would happen next..so I go,

Another Looooooooong Day
I had to wake up early today for my driving lessons at 8am. I had a new instructor because it's my real teacher's day-off. He's nice - better than my real teacher, actually. He talks to me and my tita. He evaluated me after the class and told me what I had to practice more on. My real teacher just does what he's supposed to. Maybe the essay on General Education we took up during last, last sem's English class proves true. You may be a professional but you can't forget that you're human. Gee, I learned something. ^-^
I went to ICA to get my yearbook. I got there at around 10:30. I sort of got lost on my way to the Alumnae Office. A lot has changed in less than 2 years. I went to visit ate Glo, Francia - got my Physics book back, with a new look - and of course, Cheska! ^-^ I waited - correction, Spark and I - waited for half an hour for Shan, Queena and Janella. We left at 12 for Robinson's Galleria. Strolled for a little bit, bought food and movie tix, and went to watch The Day After Tomorrow. The movie finished at 3pm. We strolled a bit more. Spark picked me up at exactly 4pm. He's the best. I got home at 5 to cook my gramah's food. I did the same thing I do everyday when I got here. ~_~
The Day After Tomorrow
At first, I didn't really feel like watching it because it's another one of those movies that would scare you. I mean, I just can't understand why they think about such a thing - destruction of the whole world. We all know that all things will come to an end but can't we just leave it up to God as of "how" HE will do it? Anyway, I didn't find the movie that good. Same
dating lang with other movies with the same theme. The effects were pretty good. Go see it yourself.. ~_^
And the Search is On
I went looking for bangles while I was at Galle. I found the PERFECT ones - perfect thickness, perfect plastic, perfect color, perfect price, perfect pair of white and baby blue ones I've seen. But..
at shempre may pero.. they don't fit. DAMN. I'll be going to Greenhills this Friday so I can go look for my bangies. I hope, I hope I find them. ^-^

No Driving Today. Still Busy.
I don't have driving classes scheduled until Monday. But then, I still had a REALLY busy day today. I woke up this morning - had a fight with Spark on the phone - and then started wiping the windows, polishing the floor to a shine and setting up my mum's old treasure can into the steel cabinet. Gee. That was some "treasure". All the can contained were glass and plastic bottles,
lianeras(?) to hold Leche Flan and some other broken, useless stuff.
My Mum - An Angel or a Slave-driver?
I got hungry this afternoon and sent my mum an sms saying this:
Ma pbili nmn ng meryenda na nakakabusog..Ü You might be thinking, why would I say such a thing to my mum. Last time I told her to please buy me
meryenda, she brought home Sylvannas - those that melt in your mouth and don't make you feel full - at all. Anyway, she brought home burger mcdo with cheese for me today. ^-^ And then, I showed her her stuff that I wanted to throw away. She picked up some stuff that she still wants to keep, and then told me to wash the huge can. Huhuhu! My dad said she's a slave-driver.
Biatch.
I think I'm super bitchy to Spark today. He ruined my morning!! He made me feel so low..like I'm not good at driving at all.

gumanti naman ako sa kanya eh, hehe! I woke him up in the middle of his peaceful rest. ^-^ I don't usually do that. I let him sleep all he wants and wake him up only when it's past 6 - when it's time for him to get ready for work. You can call me names. I won't mind. hihi! It's almost that time of the month again, that's why I'm like this. I was calling him on his handphone at around 9pm, to say "How you doin'?" Joey style, you know..just for fun. But then, he didn't pick up. I called TWICE. Well, there goes my mood. Forget about calling.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I started my driving lessons yesterday, right? The engine died at the middle of the intersection! Hahaha! The good thing about it was, I didn't even panic or got nervous about being honked at by other cars and trucks. Hahaha! I actually find it funny because DUH! I don't know how to drive yet so they shouldn't go blowing their horns at me. Anyway, I think I did well today. Compared to yesterday, the engine died twice ONLY. Haha! Good enough for me. ^-^
Still with Yoyo Balloons
I changed the Yoyo Balloons layout to make it fit for the 800x600 resolution. So now, it looks small for the 1024x760.. Whatever. At least both resolutions will show the site perfectly - without cutting the background. I'm feeling kinda hungry..I think I'll go grab some Leche Flan. Weeeeeee!!

Not feeling so well..
Hey, I'm really sorry I haven't posted for a couple of days. I haven't been feeling well. I'm SOOO mad with my brother because since he got back here, he hasn't cleaned the house! All he wants to do is play and watch basketball.
Sobra na ata ah! Baka akala niya, bakasyon pa din siya!? Anyway, it's so tiring for me and I think I'm gonna be sick. But I'm still hoping I won't.
Finally! Alas! Gawd!
I finally got my student permit. Sheesh! That took awfully long. I have driving lessons this afternoon, at 1. So I have to be quick about doing my stuff here at home..you know, cleaning up and stuff. Darn it's hot. Guess what?! I saw this guy at LTO, he's also applying for a student permit, I think. He's chinese, and kinda cute, I might say. Actually, he looks familiar. But his name was JP Huang..and that name didn't ring any bell. Haha! Maybe all chinito guys look a bit alike..
Job Update
Dang gave me the pictures for the Yoyo Balloons site. I haven't talked to her yet though. I'm supposed to pick the pictures I want to put on the site. In short,

daming pics!! There were about 500 pics on the cd. I can't start doing that now, but I'm sure I'll do it today. After I get back from driving school. ^-^

I slept late last night because I saw Piolo Pascual's "The Gift" Concert on TV. No, I'm no Piolo fan. I thought I would see Diether Ocampo there. ^-^ Call me
baduy but I really like the guy. He's just SOOOOO handsome.. ^-^
"The Moment I Wake Up..."
Spark called. He and my brother, who just came home friday night with my mum, were talking about NBA and stuff. When the phone was passed to me, he learned that I just woke up and then he started asking me nonsense questions like, have I had breakfast yet. Didn't I just say it clear enough that I just woke up?! Anyway, there goes the start of my day. I've hang up on him more than twice today already. I just hate being asked stupid questions.
I have a problem to face today. It's not actually my problem, but then who else will handle it?! My amah's nurse Lovely, told Arlene, Ruth's reliever, yesterday that she'd come late today. Arlene said it's ok. And then this morning, Lovely sent an sms to Arlene saying that she'd come in the afternoon instead. WTF?! Why the hell is she making her own plans and schedule?? Has she turned into a boss??
It's just so frustrating because I have lots to do here at home like clean up and cook and everything else. I can't be there at my amah and do stuff here at the same time. So there.
Still Writing
I'm not done with my tutorial section yet. But I have some parts done already.
Sobrang matrabaho! I can't believe I got into thinking about writing my own tutorial! But then if I really want to share my "talents", that's the effective way to do that, right? ^-^ Anyway, I might slow down with the updates a bit. My eyes are still quite tired.. Sorry..

Tita Rubi's Birthday Bash
We went to Fontana today to celebrate my tita's 40th birthday. Her real birthday is still on the 26th but then we won't be able to gather as a family if she celebrates it on that day. Looooooooooooong Day..
I'm sorry I wasn't able to post anything yesterday. I was just SO busy. My mum's still not here, right? So I had to prepare our meals, wash the clothes, clean up, blah.. I made potato salad which was a VERY tedious process compared to the ordinary salad I eat. You know.. the one with tomatoes, lettuce, pieces of toasted bread, cucumber and whatever else I can add.
My hands are always wet these days. No, not sweaty! Wet because I keep on washing and cutting vegetables and stuff. Plus, last night was my mum's turn to sleep at my amah's house. But because she's not here, I get to do that. I'm not complaining or anything. It's ok if I have to sleep there. It's just difficult to catch sleep because my amah has to be suctioned every now and then. The motor that runs it makes pretty loud sounds. Anyway, I'm tired.. :(

Speaking of noise. Our water meter has been broken for a while now. We don't get overcharged by MWSS, so the water loss is their loss. Anyway, just last week, this guy came to check out the problem and said he will have the job scheduled. And, WALAH! They're here now. And they brought with them that huge machine to dig into the cemented sidewalk. They said I won't have access to water for about an hour. I hope they keep true to their word because I still have a lot of cooking and washing to do. WAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

Still switching ballot boxes?!
The electricity went off again last night. Yipes! I was all alone downstairs and my dad was sleeping like a baby. Luckily, although my handphone's battery was almost about empty, I was able to use it as a flashlight to get to my room. Whew! Oh hey, I have something to confess..I sleep with my PJ's right? Well..I didn't do that last night. It was freakin hot without the fan! I had to sleep with just my undies.. Yucky

Anyway, I doubt if the reason for the blackouts is ballot-switching since the counting is about done. Spark said it could be because some houses at Santolan burnt down the other day. Meralco's still probably fixing the problem..

My Quest as an Aspiring Driver
Well, there are so few days left before vacation ends and I haven't started driving classes yet! I'm already enrolled and all I need left is a friggin' student's permit. But my friggin' birth certificate is missing.. My mum's in Singapore and she forgot to leave my passport.. I have nothing else to prove that I'm old enough to drive! So I thought I won't be able to get my permit today and I'll have to wait until my mum comes home. But at around 1:30 pm, my dad sends me an sms saying that tita Flor might be able to help us without the requirements.
He gets here an hour later and we drive to LTO España. We actually got lost a bit because my dad doesn't know that place well enough. Anyway, when we got there, we went inside the office to see the assistant head. She gave me an application form and eyed me from head to toe. And then she said,
"Eh 16 lang yata 'to eh!" Flattering, yes. But useless nonetheless. I didn't accomplish anything.
Ahh...Almost Heaven
I forgot to tell you about tita Flor.. She's my dad's high school batchmate. She had her house blessed last Sunday, and she invited us. Her house has three floors, it's full of displays -
santo's and buddha's, horses, unicorns, etc., and it's so
green! I have nothing against it.. I'm thinking, if I had my own house, I doubt if it would have any figurine as a display.
I should tell you about that day.. One of my most "glorious" summer days! At first, I didn't want to come with my dad because for sure
puro gurang na naman ang nandoon and I thought I might die of boredom! But then when we got there, tita Flor was the most wonderful host! It's like we've known each other for years! Anyway, I'm straying off the topic, there were already guests and my dad knows one of them - mister I-Dunno-Who, referred to as mister IDW hereafter. He made introductions yada yada and then mister IDW said he had two sons. I thought the two guys at the same table were his sons, but I was wrong. This guy came strolling in and sat behind mister IDW.
Lo and behold. He was a Joseph Yeo look alike..only younger! Mister IDW pointed to his other son, who was 20, and to my heaven..*ehem!*, who was 19! Talk about coincidence! Or is it destiny? *Flutters eyelashes* I looked at him, of course, because we were being "introduced" and we had some eye contact..*Blushing* and then I stopped looking! He must have seen how I looked at him..! Anyway, they left right after they had their fill..I bet they didn't even say thank you to the host! Whatever. He's cute, yes. But manners count, don't they? ^-^

What's new?
My mum bought me a Pucca headband!!! WEEEEEEEEE!!! And guess what else?? It's in my fave color! Baby blue! :D I've been wearing it all day.. haha! I saw some Pucca hiatus and page templates on Google..when I get over my Matt Damon fever, Pucca will probably rule my new layout. ^-^ Funny love.. haha!

I'm getting addicted to another game. The Sims Unleashed! ^-^ I know it's a pretty old game..but hey, I didn't have time to play it when it was still a "fad". I enjoy planting veggie seeds in my yard, it's a plus because I get to save some funds for something else. I have a dog, Pangga, and I just bought him a blue collar. The weird thing about the game is I've been taking pictures of my place and my dog but they don't appear in my photo album. -_-, What am I doing wrong??

Hi!! Missed me, huh? :D
This post should have come earlier.. but I've been having trouble.. and doing a lot of thinking.. about this site. The thing is, I made this for 1024x760.. my background asks for it.. but then guys who still use 800x600 see things differently.. and the resolution prevents the entire background from showing up.. it shrinks my tables.. and moves my divs to other places and makes it skimpy.. *shrug* I guess I'll keep it like this.. 1024x760.. sorry 800x600 peeps! ^-^;
